We flipped it once about three years ago just because it's two-sided, and wanted to keep both sides unified. We bought our Shifman from an outlet that purchases blemished mattresses directly from Shipman. Our mattress blemish was the stitching not being uniform, but it did not take away from the mattress's integrity.Our Shifman Mattress is the most comfortable, sturdy, plush, sleek, and extravagant mattress we've ever owned. I'm putting this review here because I am getting ready to buy another one, but this one is for my seventy-seven-year-old mom.I'm thankful to God for blessing me with the financial capability to purchase a Shifman Mattress because they are regal, and you feel like royalty when you awake from a night of sleep on a Shifman-made mattress.

My 6 year old daughter sleeps on a Shifman Mattress and it makes me leave my husband sleeping along at our sleep number bed almost every night 🤷‍♀️. Now I have to change mine to save my marriage 🫣🫣 im very happy with the Shifman experience.

Love my new mattress. Solved by back and shoulder issues. Fully recommend. You can tell it’s built by hand with quality materials.

I purchased a Shifman mattress about 1 year ago and have had an incredible experience so far. When I originally was looking for a new mattress, I decided on Shifman for a couple reasons. There customer service exceeded my expectations and made the whole process from start to finish was very smooth. As for the mattress itself, I have had back issues for quite a while now and since using this mattress I haven't had any pain from sleeping. Highly recommend!!

I own 2 Shifman mattresses. In all honestly, I hate sleeping anywhere except on my Shifman mattress! I have had one for almost 7 years and it is like new. The other I’ve had for about 2 years. The construction is meticulous and I feel like every detail of a Shifman mattress is taken into consideration. I have a chronic issue with my back and I went through many mattresses before I purchased a Shifman Mattress. They are worth every penny!!

I own two of their mattresses and they are amazing! So comfortable and inviting for a sore body at the end of a long day! Happy with our decision

Best night of sleep ever!!!

I have to say - I owned a Shifman for about 10 years quite a few years back. I liked the mattress but it eventually sagged and I got rid of it. It’s an investment. I also didn’t use the box spring at one point and was aware that on a platform - the shifman will deteriorate much more quickly. I am in the market for another mattress but looking at the reviews and more importantly the response of the Shifman company to one gentleman who wouldn’t accept a “loaner” box spring while they repaired his original one- it’s unacceptable! Why would he?!?! Or the defection of the Shifman representative in Long Island?!? NO THANKS! I’m moving on. You pay that much for a mattress you better be above board and honor your warranty better than that nonsense. There’s clearly a theme here in how they treat their “lemon” mattresses. Regardless how few there may be out there - I will not engage with a company that plays games and doesn’t honor the purchase of a very expensive product. I give three stars because when I did own my mattress I liked it. 2 star deduction for pitiful customer service.

I purchased a Shifman mattress ‘davinci’ several years back. What an incredible mattress! I have back issues and have problems sleeping at times, this mattress has really made a fantastic difference. I don’t wake up stiff and in pain any more. Worth every penny, and what excellent quality! Highly recommend!

I bought an expensive latex mattress. It was great….until it wasn’t. I flip it as needed (which is often) but it gets a huge lump in the center. The real problem is it’s so darn heavy we can’t flip it ourselves. We literally have to hire men to flip it. I’m so sad I wasted my moneyEDITThe company DID follow up and sent two men. They were very nice and they adjusted the box prongs which were too high in the center. I’m thinking this will solve the issue with the large hump in the middle

We have had our split king Shifman mattress for 27 years. It is the best mattress we have ever slept on. We are downsizing to a queen-size because I can't move around the room anymore with the king. Sad because it clearly has more life in it! But I am planning on another Shifman! I like the company and I love their mattresses!

I am disabled and spend a lot of time in bed. I am also very heavy. I ruined our last mattress by sitting on the side of the bed too much. Shifman Mattresses are the ONLY mattress that pays specific attention to this, despite the fact that EVERYONE spends some time on the side of the bed, usually quite a lot if it is a quality mattress. The workmanship is superb and it works on our adjustable bed with no problems whatsoever. It may seem like a rather pricy mattress, but if we consider the cost, time and trouble in finding, purchasing and installing another mattress in the 5 to 8 years our last " quality" mattress lasted (not a Shifman and almost the same price), its a bargain. The fact that it is made to be turned, unlike most mattresses now days, makes it a bargain twice over! I will definitely recommend this to my friends and relatives who are a bit overweight, whether they are currently looking for a mattress or not, because, if they don't have a Shifman, they will be looking for a new mattress soon!

My wife and I recently purchased a Shifman mattress and boxspring. It is the most comfortable mattress that we have owned and would recommend it highly for quality and comfort. All contacts with sales and manufacturer have been exceptional in all respects.

Sleeping on a Shifman has changed my sleeping routine. It's such a comfortable mattress and I look forward to sleeping on it each night. It's 10/10!

Excellent customer service. It's not very often that someone picks up the phone and is so helpful. Thank you.When my new Metro Box spring arrived I couldn't see the springs through the gauze on the bottom of the unit. I was concerned that I was replacing my current box spring with the same wooden box that I was getting rid of! I immediately called the Shifman company and to my pleasant surprise a representative patiently directed me to a picture of the internal construction of the box spring which reassured me that my new box spring is something special.

We have a queen and full. 12 and 15 years old. They are still exceptional. I go on travel, sleep suffers. Follow their advice and you'll be pleased. Take time to select firmness level. We selected the next to the most firm choice. Again very pleased. Never had a mattress hold up this well.

Greatest mattress on earth. I bought a pillow top with lambswool after my last mattress nearly paralyzed me. I wonder if that model is still made?

Huge fan !!! Handmade quality product that gives you the best nights sleep!!! Why sleep on something ordinary when you can sleep on a Shifman? Do the right thing and spoil yourself! Feels good to feel good

We purchased a mattress from the Shifman Handmade collection to try after suffering from back pain for many years from mass-produced, commercial brands. Shifman's handmade mattress has corrected our back pain nearly completely. I wake up in the morning feeling almost totally refreshed. Accordingly, we have purchased a second mattress for another family member. His back has improved as well. The quality of Shifman's Handmade collection is extraordinary. Having slept on high-quality mattresses in Europe, I can say that Shifman's quality meets or exceeds its most storied European counterparts. Additionally, as I have now learned that Shifman's Handmade collection is manufactured right here in the U.S. I urge anyone and everyone who desires improved back and overall body health, and an exceptional sleeping experience, to give Shifman's Handmade collection a try. I wish to express my deepest appreciation to the Shifman workers and leadership for a job extremely well done and for their dedication to authentic and superior American craftsmanship.
